How to Creat a PSN account

Signing Up on Your PC

1. Type in your browser  http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Home.
2. Click the "join now" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Review the privacy policy before clicking "continue."
3. Fill in the proper information when prompted. Be sure to enter a valid e-mail address in case you need to recover your password.
4. Power on your PS3 and browse to the "Playstation Network" icon at the end of the Cross Media Bart (XMB). Select the "sign in" option and enter your account information. Select the "sign in" button.
5. At the top right corner it will say "Signed In"(in a gray box)

Signing Up on Your PS3

1. Scroll the XMB to the right until you reach the "PSN" icon.
2. Select the icon and scroll down to the "sign in" option.
3. Select the "create account" button and follow the prompts. Fill in the necessary account information and select "create account."
4. Go back to the XMB. Select 'sigh in" and enter you account information. Click on 'sigh in'.
5. At the top right corner it will say "Signed In" (in a gray box)

Tips & Warnings

Keeping your account information saved on your PS3 is a convenient way to log in to PSN automatically.

If you are using a PS3 that is shared with others, it's not wise to keep your login credentials saved.

Never share your PSN password with anyone.
